STIX

I introduce to you, Stix, the very first global music promotion for me. Stix and I are currently working on a single with beautiful vocalist/artist Renee Robinson. During that time, Stix encouraged me to assist with making his 2nd single, "IM FLY", be released to Canada for the first time ever. Not only his music, but his own career. This will be the PREMIER of the STIX music history.

Get ready, Vancouver, this will be hot!

Bio:

"Certified champion of hip-hop, STIX is definitely on the rise to being the next tycoon ofthe entertainment industry. Motivated by the disparaging environment in hishometown, Brandon Salaam-Bailey surfaced as the energy behind one of LA's mostpromising talents, STIX. The Watts California native is a founding member of the rockband LIFE NINE. The band recently inked a production deal with Grammy nominatedartist Tyrese's Headquarter Entertainment. As an independent artist, STIX hassuccessfully built a worldwide following for his music. He was the host and headlineperformer on the Burger King Kings of the Court tour around the country, along withbeing the opening act on two nationwide tours with superstar Tyrese..."

Stix has notably worked very hard to be where he is today, and I am proud to represent such an artist.

"STIX is slated to release his debut album titled “Late For Sound check” on July 7th 2009,distributed by his own company Sum Genius along with KheperaRecords/Ingrooves/Universal Records. The direction and sound of the album willremind you of Kanye’s release “808’s & Heartbreaks” mixed with a touch of 50 Cent “GetRich or Die Trying.” The Watts City representative has worked with notable artist suchas Will Smith, Tyrese,Tank, Busta Rhymes, Jay Rock, Ginuwine Method Man and R. Kelly, just to name a few. In addition to creating a music presence, STIX's added businessopportunities have garnered him a name within the children's market. He is the creatorof a children's clothing line Q&A and the Executive Producer, of the children's cartoons,The Adventures of STIX, and Antwon Spinach, scheduled to debut on networksworldwide in late 2010. STIX is presently authoring a book titled Hello' is Anyone Home,a book for parents understanding the minds of a child, written from a teenageperspective. Famed pastor T.D. Jakes said, “This is a must need to be exposed book".STIX has also entered the comic book world which he has created the graphic novel“Hell Angel” under extreme negotiations."

I have planned to release his music @ CAPRICE NIGHTCLUB.

AWEARNESS

"On behalf of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of the Western region of Canada, I would like to extend to you an invitation to take part in the AWEAR-NESS event, a night of fashion to raise funds and awareness for Leukemia and related cancers. The event will be held at (undetermined venue), in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is the first AWEAR-NESS event to be held in British Columbia, and we hope for it not to be the last. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people across the world are affected directly or indirectly by Leukemia. Whether it be a mother, daughter, father, son, best friend, or co-worker, leukemia has left a devastating impact on many people across the world. As much as 138,530 people in the US alone were said to have been diagnosed with leukemia in the year 2008. Every ten minutes another child or adult is expected to die from leukemia, which works out to about 145 people a day, or 6 people in just one hour. Although the statistics are devastating, there are more and more people living with and surviving leukemia today, and by participating in this one night, we can help contribute to the growing numbers of survivors. By bringing the community together for this great cause, I hope to raise enough money to make an impact this cause.

If you would like to contribute to the growing numbers of positive statistics, there is no day like today to get involved. You can contact me at the phone number or email address below for more information or if you would like to take part.
Thank you so much for your time, and I look forward to the possibility of working with you."

Thanks again!

Sincerely, Lindsey Whittaker

Vancouver it finally has happened!! The "Tito Deville Band" are officially launching their video "Tonight" here in our stylish city of Vancouver!! It is an exciting moment for the band as they have worked very hard over the year's to get to this point in their music careers. Having supported and performed many gigs throughtout our city, their time has come to show the world what they are all about!
The band itself has encompassed so much over the years and it is an exciting moment. Not only will they be launching their video for us in Vancouver, but the video itself will be hosted on Much Music and MTV, now that is awesome! Having worked with Tito over the last 6 months I know how much work has been involved to get to this step. Dedication, determination and relentless hours of work have all been apart of the success they have had to this day. Now, the time has come to launch into stardom. Electro Rock is a genre of music that has not been perceived by us here in Vancouver, yet everytime The Tito Deville Band performs, they rock the place! "Tonight" is a upbeat, energetic, wicked song that gets the crowd pumped, the venue rockin' and the audience on their feet.

Networking thru Twitter

As many of us are already aware, Twitter, has taken over. It is amazing how one site can become so popular, so fast. Yet it takes so much work to allow people to see your very own site. I give the creators big props for the fact they pulled off another social networking technique that has spread worldwide. Well my plan now: to have as many followers as I can and meet as many new people as I can throughout our beautiful world.

To date, I have been in contact with many via Twitter, it is a great way to spread the word about you, your work, or even your business. I have allowed myself to spread my name and business, mainly to US but to Europe as well and I have received a great response and thank to those that keep up-to-date with me and everything I do.

I do know its' very hard to locate ones you want to communicate with, so that is why I have made this blog, of which I hope to update as often as I can.

To end, I will have my twitter along with my Myspace, which has had great responses so far. The picture that is attached to this is not my logo, the very first blog is, as you will see when you click on my twitter or Myspace. This one is just for fun, as people have said they like it.

I hope to meet more of you soon. All the best and good luck with anything you do, just stick to it and don't give up!! :)

Introduction to Vancouver's Best

Ashton Thomas grew up listening to sensational artists as Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Il Divo, NeYo, Taio Cruz, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Mark Anthony, India Arie, Josh Groban and many other greats. Having being brought up to work hard and strive for what you believe in, Ashton found his niche as a young child by listening to these artists and paying close attention to beat, rhythm, and sound quality that made the music be what it is. Constantly listening to the radio and keeping aware of what the music world was all about, knew that someday he would apply this knowledge later in time. Never really knowing where to start, he continued to believe. His dream was then realized after attending a "Il Divo" concert here in Vancouver. From there he gained even more interest and started researching anything and everything he could. Now...as an independent entrepreneur at the young age of 20," I hope to accomplish so much more than I have already. After years of study and determination I decided to take my love for music to another level. Through hour less study, I have learnt the up’s and down and hope to apply that when artists come to me wanting help.
I am my “own team” and work just as hard to prove that I am capable of obtaining my dream: market artists, work for a label, establish my work and business in hopes someone will notice me. My focus is helping artists further their careers. I understand everyone has different styles and it is hard for people to adapt to certain genres of music. I am not here to pick and choose, I am here to help. Having gained great contacts worldwide, I know I can be a great addition to furthering your music and an asset to your label, management team or company. So let’s get started!"
